Francisco HungCollectable Booklets
Francisco Hung (Paco Hung) was a painter and the highest representative of abstract expressionism in Venezuela. He developed his work since the early 1960s. He was born in Canton, China and he moved to Maracaibo, Venezuela when he was 10 years old.
The objective of this project was to portray and honor the different pictorial stages of the Venezuelan artist Francisco Hung through a series of collectable booklets, to contribute with the development of Venezuelan art and culture. Throughout the booklets the reader is going to get a sense of the unique mix of style, knowledge and trends that the artist applied to his paintings, creating a sense of belonging in order to portray aspects of Venezuela’s identity.
